Dwelling Place
“Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.” – Psalm 90:1
O Lord, my God, my soul's retreat,
In You alone my rest is sweet.
No earthly house, no temple grand
Can match the shelter of Your hand.
In Christ, the Cornerstone secure,
My refuge stands, forever sure.
Through storms and trials, loss and strife,
You are my peace, my strength, my life.
I sought for hope in fleeting days,
But found it not in man’s own ways.
Then to the cross my heart was led—
There Jesus bore the wrath I dread.
No longer bound by guilt or fear,
Your Spirit testifies, “I'm near.”
Redeemed, restored, by grace alone,
I'm now a child before Your throne.
O Savior, make my heart Your home,
Until that day You call me Home.
Not by my works, nor by my name,
But by the Lamb for sinners slain.
Your Word, my guide—Your truth, my light,
I walk by faith and not by sight.
And every breath until life’s end,
I'll trust in Christ, my Lord, my Friend.
So while I journey through this land,
I'll cling to Your unfailing hand.
My dwelling place is found in Thee,
Amen!
